Which Is Better Between Wii and Xbox 360

There is a debate over which game console is better, Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360? But before sharing what I think about this, it is better if I provide you with some important information about the two game consoles.
Xbox 360 is a product of Microsoft. It uses a conventional design yet wireless control pad to play games. One distinguishing feature of the Xbox 360 is the Xbox Live service which enables players to play online and compete with other players via internet. It also allows downloading of arcade games, videos, TV shows, game demos and trailers.
On the other hand, Wii is a game console released by Nintendo which is said to be the direct successor of Game Cube. The unique feature of the game is that it uses a seemingly TV remote control control pad which is known as Wii Remote. It is a pointing device capable of detecting movement in three dimensions. Hence, the players in using the game console are usually sweating it out as seen on television ads.
In scrutinizing over the several arguments posed by fans from each side, usually the discussion veer not on the pros and cons of the hardware itself but on the software or games that it uses. In going through there discussion, I find it funny because the discussion does not directly answer the question. In my opinion, I think it is more of a question of taste of the games people play rather than a question which game console has greater advantage over the other. If this is how the discussion goes then I think it is simply going nowhere. People have different tastes. And criticizing one’s taste is tantamount to questioning his personality which is a different matter.
I think that the two game console caters to different gaming preferences that which should not be argued about. Those who play Wii are people who would like to have fun playing outdoor activities right in there television and prefers to sweat it out. And those who like to play Xbox are precisely those persons who prefer to sit it out and have fun at home.
Comparing the games as a whole is not a question that should to be raised either because each of the games caters to different gaming experience. But of course, the graphics employed and technology to generate this software is a different matter.
All in all, there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to the question of which game console should be hailed as the better one. What is important is that people who owns and uses these game consoles are enjoying themselves.
